Terms and Conditions

The Referrer will be entitled to the above rewards if the following terms and conditions have been followed:

  1. This offer is open to everybody who is resident in the United Kingdom who refer friends or family to Money Advice Clinic for mortgage and protection advice.
  2. The Referrer must:
    1. Have obtained explicit consent from the Referred Friend for their details to the referral and the passing of their contact details to Money Advice Clinic.
    2. Have obtained explicit consent for Money Advice Clinic to contact the Referred Friend on the contact details provided.
    3. Not refer themselves.
    4. Meet all of the qualifying criteria and other clauses in this Refer-A-Friend Terms and Conditions
  3. For the Referrer to qualify for the Recommend a Friend Reward the Referred Friend must:
    1. Have completed a fact find with a member of the Money Advice Clinic advice team.
    2. Have a Mortgage or Insurance Completion to which the application was submitted by Money Advice Clinic.
    3. Meet all of the qualifying criteria and other clauses in this Refer-A-Friend Terms and Conditions.
  4. Re-referrals are only valid if the Referred Friend isn’t an existing client or prospect – i.e. someone already known to Money Advice Clinic.
  5. Rewards for Mortgages will only be paid on mortgage completions with a borrowing amount over £100,000.
  6. To achieve the Insurance Policy Referral Reward, the ‘referred’ must apply and complete on an overall monthly premium of £30 or more.
  7. In the event of the ‘Referred Friend’ taking out a qualifying mortgage and protection policy, the stated rewards will be paid out for both sales made.
  8. The Insurance Referral Reward will only be paid once to the ‘referrer’ irrelevant of the number of Insurance Policies completed on.
  9. The Mortgage Referral Reward will only be paid once to the ‘referrer’ irrelevant of the number of mortgages completed on.
  10. The Mortgage Referral Reward will not be paid when the referred friend takes out a re-mortgage / product switch with their existing mortgage provider when the application has been submitted via Money Advice Clinic, however, a £10 reward voucher will be paid as a thank you to the referrer.
  11. The range of Insurance Policies that will qualify for the Insurance Referral Reward are:
    1. Life Insurance
    2. Critical Illness
    3. Income Protection
  12. A joint application is considered as one Referred Friend.
  13. The Referrer and Referred Friend must both be over the age of 18 to qualify.

Non-Qualifying Criteria

  1. Referrers that reside outside of the United Kingdom do not qualify for the recommend a friend scheme.
  2. Referred Friends that reside outside of the United Kingdom do not qualify for the recommend a friend scheme.
  3. Employees of Money Advice Clinic do not qualify for the recommend a friend scheme.
  4. House Insurance referrals do not qualify for a reward
  5. Will referrals do not qualify for a reward

Rewards

  1. If all the conditions above are met, then the Referrer will receive the £50 Love to Shop Voucher for the relevant referrals / sales made.
  2. Rewards will be paid within 30 days of Money Advice Clinic receiving their commission from the relevant mortgage and insurance provider.
  3. When The Referrer is completing the referral form, they must accurately input their own address details into the Recommend a Friend form so they can receive their voucher.
  4. The Referrer will be notified using the registered email held by Money Advice Clinic to notify them the referral reward has been made.
  5. Use of the Love2Shop voucher is subject to Love2Shop’s own gift voucher terms and conditions.
  6. Vouchers must be kept safely and securely. Money Advice Clinic will not accept responsibility for any loss incurred as a result of theft, impersonation or identity fraud.
  7. The voucher is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

Other Conditions

  1. There’s no limit to the number of Referred Friends a Referrer can refer.
  2. Money Advice Clinic accepts no responsibility for being unable to offer a service to the Referred Friend.
  3. In the event of any disputes regarding the Refer-A-Friend scheme, the decision of Money Advice Clinic is final.
  4. Money Advice Clinic reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this offer by amending these terms and conditions or withdraw this offer at any time.
